Okayama Denim & Leather Bracelet Kit

Posted by LeatherCraftTools.com (Apr 8, 2020)

This is a bracelet made of denim fabric from Okayama and the more you use this, the more the texture increases and the more it looks antique.
This is a sewn-less bracelet kit that can be completed by simply fastening the snap fasteners.

1.

Prepare necessary materials.
We used ready-made "Okayama Denim & Leather Bracelet Kit" in this project.

2.

Wrap the denim fabric around your wrist for a decent size.

* If you attach the leather parts and snap fasteners, it will be a little tighter, so please allow about 0.5 cm to 1 cm.
* The denim will shrink and shorten by another 1 cm when washed.

3.

Mark the position of the hole with a Silver Marking Pen or other tool.

4.

5.

Cut the edge leaving a little less than 1 cm (8 mm) from the marking position.

6.

Make a hole in the marked position with the Round Hole Punch #7 (2.1 mm).

7.

If you don't have the round hole punch, you can use a Round Awl.

8.

Attach the snap fasteners to the leather parts folded back with the denim material sandwiched.

9.

Attach the female part to the larger hole and the male part to the smaller hole.

10.

11.

12.

13.

14.

Untie the warp (indigo-dyed yarn), leaving only the weft (white cotton yarn) to form a fringe.

15.

16.

Make sure the snap fasteners are fastened, shape them and you're done.

17.

You can enjoy the change in the denim by washing it.

18.

Complete.
